The bellows with this configuration can be cylindrical or cone-cylindrical.
The mooring mouths can have a flat bridle in order to enable them
to be screwed onto a surface, round for fastening collars (clamps),
or both; one at each end.
Depending on the use, we can manufacture round bellows with an
inner weaving such as polyester, Kevlar or Nomex, we choose it
depending on our need of protection, for example, if we need the
bellow to be abrasion resistant, we use Kevlar, or if we need
it to be high temperatures resistant we use Nomex.... The wrapping
of these weavings is made of PVC, silicone (for high temperature)
or a special hydrocarbon-resistant PVC. All of these bellows can
be manufactured with a longitudinal zip in order to enable the
bellow to be opened, although we have to bear in mind that it
takes up more space when compressed.
Another
possibility is the fold-sewn round bellow that is used when
a short compression length is required. It could be also manufactured
to resist oils, high temperatures, dissolvent, ...
